Attire
Pick something that looks polished and professional: Think tailored blouse with a knee-length skirt or pants. Your outfit should be conservative, meaning low-cut tops or short skirts are a no-no. Any prints or embellishments should be kept simple.
It's also a good idea to stay away from bold colors like fuchsia or lime green. "If the boss-to-be is conservative, overdosing on color the first time you meet may be distracting," says Elycia Rubin, co-author of Frumpy To Foxy In 15 Minutes Flat.
